Terence started in the travel industry in Sydney working briefly for Farnham Travel and Tours and Sydney Credit Union Travel. He moved to L'Agence where he spent 3 years managing the domestic corporate travel requirements as well as starting and running their inbound travel department.
He says he learnt travel management the hard way there - nothing was spoon-fed and you had to sink or swim.

From there Terence moved to MSC Travel becoming the senior corporate consultant for their Sydney office. He also helped create their fly/cruise program which has been growing strongly ever since. Terence was offered to move to Melbourne with MSC to manage their Melbourne office. Here he spent another 5 years creating and managing their corporate client base and building the most successful travel department in the company. Terence was also instrumental in bringing all MSC Travel offices into the current travel environment with the dramatic changes in the industry in this period, advancing the company's technology and service structure to what a modern day Travel Management Company should be doing.

Terence left MSC looking for a new challenge and of course started Corporate Blue with Patrick Tessier, the managing director and major shareholder of Corporate Blue in June 2002. Since then Terence has built Corporate Blue from nothing but a bare office to where it is today, a major corporate agency managing clientele from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Los Angeles, New York, London, Singapore, Auckland and Christchurch. He has also been heavily involved with building Corporate Blue's MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, events) programs which are growing strongly due to the reputation of how well these have been run in the past.

Terence has an absolute philosophy towards travel management - "make sure you have the best staff and the best technology to do the best job for your clientele, after all delivery to the customer is paramount. Staff should be empowered to everything from reservations to meeting clientele and completely managing the entire aspect of their client's needs. Most of all make sure the 'triangle of corporate travel management' is adhered to - travel co-ordinators are given the best service to save their booking times, travel accountants are given savings through effective management and reporting and the travellers are given the best options for their trips ensuring their personal needs are catered for and they have the most effective and smooth arrangements to allow them to concentrate on their job".

Really it is as basic as that to Terence and we love to hear our clients report things like "we never have to worry, we get the best prices but more than that we have peace of mind when we travel, there never really is a problem, if something occurs Corporate Blue is always there to help".
Terence ensures that all clientele will be saying that within 4 months of Corporate Blue managing their accounts.
